Defining termination reasons

There can be various reasons for why a worker and an employer might decide to end their working relationship. It’s important to document these reasons and follow the correct procedures that are applicable in a company. Clients can capture Termination Reasons for reporting and integrations.

As a Beeline Professional administrator, you set up Termination Reasons to meet a client’s requirements. You can copy Termination Reasons from an implementation tenant.

Before you begin

  • You must have Beeline Professional administrators access to the implementation tenant site and the site you’re setting up.

Steps

To configure the termination reasons for your program, complete these steps from any supported browser.

  1. Log in to the Professional implementation tenant.

  2. From the left navigation, go to Settings  Engagements.

  3. Select the Termination Reasons tab to view the details of each termination reason.

  4. In a separate window, log in to the Professional tenant site you’re setting up.

  5. Go to Settings  Engagements and select the Termination Reasons tab.

  6. From the upper right of the Termination Reasons table, select Add.

  7. In the Add New Termination Reason dialog, copy these details from the implementation tenant:

    • Name

    • Reference ID

    • Assignable

    • Eligible For Rehire

  8. Select Submit.
