Home page: Program Alerts widget

Having visibility into missing dates or unspecified engagement data such as locations, job profiles, cost centers, classifications, or supervisory organizations allows you to address those misalignments promptly and efficiently. Add the new Program Alerts widget to your Home page to quickly identify cases of incomplete worker profiles and engagement information. To drill down into the list of alerts, select the alerts that displays on the widget.

This enhancement is automatically available in all Professional tenant sites. Your administrator can activate it in Settings  User Interface Settings  Home. For more information, see Editing widget properties.

Home page redesign and reorganization

The redesigned Home page allows for greater personalization, improving the visibility of key metrics and offering a tailored view that better aligns with your workflow needs.

Select Configure Screen from the upper right of your Home page and activate the customizable widgets you want displayed. Choose the order in which information is presented by dragging and dropping a widget within one of the three main widget areas:

  • The upper widget area

  • The left widget area

  • The right widget area

This enhancement is automatically available to all users and all active widgets will be migrated to the new layout. Beeline Professional administrators can update widget properties in Settings  User Interface Settings  Home. For more information, see Editing widget properties.

When activated, the Quick Actions widget will display in the most prominent position of the left widget area.
Engagement Spend Tracker

Monitoring budget expenditure per worker engagement got easier! The Spend Tracker tool offers a detailed visual representation of spend insights based on timesheet and expense costs further broken down by status of pending, approved, and invoiced. The gauge keeps track of budget spent vs completed engagement time. This helps program office users gain better understanding of spend trends and supports proactive financial management. For more information, see About engagement spend.

This enhancement is automatically available.

Controls for email settings

Having control over email settings allows for safer testing of notification workflows without the risk of unnecessary communications. Beeline Professional administrators can disable email notifications when working with test data to avoid sending unintended emails during configuration and implementation activities. For more information, see About email notification settings.

This enhancement is automatically available in all Professional tenant sites.

New dynamic field: [engagement.title]

Using dynamic fields in custom in-app and email notifications helps create a streamlined and customized user experience. Now administrators can add the engagement job title to provide additional context and make the notification more relevant and useful to the recipients.

Auto-terminate process instances

Process instances that remain active beyond a specified expiration time can now be automatically terminated to improve efficiency, ensuring long-running or stalled process instances do not consume unnecessary resources.

Administrators can activate or review this setting in Settings  Processes  General.

Auto-disable offboarded users

Ensuring inactive users no longer have access to the Beeline Professional site enhances system security and streamlines user management. With this update, user accounts can be disabled automatically for users with no active engagements.

Professional administrators can activate or review this setting in Settings  User Management  General.

Engagement budget updates

Understanding financial data is key to approvers, especially when it comes to changes that affect an engagement budget. To provide a more accurate financial overview, the Approved Budget and Current Budget fields in the engagement Finance tab were renamed to Original Budget and Approved Budget respectively.

In addition to the engagement duration, work schedule, and bill rate fields, budget calculations will now include the holiday schedule, applicable taxes and fees, and estimated additional costs, giving you a more comprehensive view of the budget associated with an engagement. For more information, see About engagement budgets.

Job Postings: additional information in the Details tab

Quickly identify the hiring organization at a glance! To provide additional context for each job posting, we’ve added the Organization name to the Details tab of the job posting page.
