Generating an audit report

As a Beeline Professional administrator, you can use audit reports to keep track of changes made to the data in your tenant site. An audit report includes historical information about who made changes to data, when they were made, and what specific changes were implemented.

You can monitor changes for these data objects:

  • Worker

  • Engagement

  • Supplier

  • User

  • Policy Rule

  • Role

  • Work Request

  • Time Code

  • Billing Rate

  • Holiday Schedule

  • Work Schedule

  • Timesheet Settings

  • Financial Field

  • Custom Field

Before you begin

  • You must have administrator access to Professional.

Steps

To create an audit report, complete these steps from any supported browser.

  1. Log in to Professional.

  2. From the left navigation, go to Settings  Monitoring and select the Audit Reports tab.

  3. In the upper right of the table, select Create Audit Report. The Create Audit Report dialog displays.

  4. Select the data object that you want to inspect for changes. For example, to view all the modifications made to financial fields, select Financial Field.

  5. Optional: Narrow down your search by applying filters.

  6. Select Create Audit Report. A message displays in the lower left to notify you that your audit report is being prepared. A notification displays when your export is ready.

  7. To download your report, select CSV or Excel from the Download Report column. A copy of the exported file is saved to your local device.
