About email notification settings
During system testing, common issues often include incorrect recipient lists or misconfigured processes that cause emails to be sent multiple times. Having control over when emails are sent provides flexibility to test notification workflows while reducing the risk of confusing or inconveniencing your users.
As a Beeline Professional administrator, you can disable email notifications when working with test data to avoid sending unintended emails during configuration and implementation activities.

Authentication emails
Authentication emails refer to email notifications that streamline sensitive communications such as new Beeline Professional account creation details and password changes. You can deactivate these settings during testing or if you’re configuring SSO for Professional. Otherwise, it is recommended that these settings are activated in stable production environments.
For security reasons, authentication emails can’t be redirected. |
General emails
General emails include these notification types:
-
Data export emails
-
Task-related emails, such as task creation and task completion
-
Automated emails triggered by actions or milestones defined within a process
-
Security emails that alert the account holder when someone is accessing their account on their behalf
-
Invitation emails for suppliers to join the Supplier Network app
-
Invitation emails for workers to join the Worker app
When you deactivate the General Emails setting, all general emails are suppressed. If you want to forward all general emails to a designated address, activate the Email Redirect setting and provide one or more designated email addresses.
For security reasons, invitations for suppliers and workers to join the Supplier Network and Worker apps respectively won’t be redirected. |
