Updating the suggested rate elements to a newer version

Suggested rates on job postings help hiring managers quickly select program-recommended pay rates and bill rates, standardizing rates across similar postings and ensuring budget alignment.

As a Beeline Professional administrator, you add or remove the suggested rates smart form elements by updating the process definition for creating a job posting. If your process is set up to use the jobRequestRateRecommendationPayRate and jobRequestRateRecommendationBillRate elements, you can update these to a newer version.

Before you begin

  • You must have administrator access to the tenant site you’re setting up.

Steps

To update the suggested rate elements, complete these steps from any supported browser.

  1. Log in to Professional.

  2. From the left navigation, go to Settings  Processes and select the process definition for creating new job posting.

  3. Navigate to the user task with the smart form designed for collecting job posting information.

  4. Find and delete the jobRequestRateRecommendationPayRate and jobRequestRateRecommendationBillRate elements on the smart form.

  5. Find and restore to default settings the jobRequestBillingRate and jobRequestPayRate elements.

  6. Select Apply Changes.

  7. Return to the process definition page and select Save and Deploy from the lower right.

  8. Optional: You can test the updated elements by creating a sample job posting.
