Controlling job profile availability for selection

You can control whether a specific job profile is available for selection when creating a new job posting, engagement, or other applicable workflow by enabling or disabling its Assignable setting. This helps keep selection lists relevant while ensuring existing job postings, engagements, and reports remain unchanged.

The Status setting is read-only in Beeline Professional and cannot be edited manually. Status can be Active or Inactive. It is managed through Workday sync or the Data Import tool only. Changes made in Workday are reflected in Professional, and vice versa.

Before you begin

  • You must have administrator access to the tenant you’re configuring.

Steps

To enable or disable the Assignable setting, complete these steps from any supported browser.

  • Go to Settings  Engagements  Job Catalog  Job Profiles.

  • Open the Actions menu (three dots) next to a job profile.

  • Select Enable or Disable.

Result

The job profile’s availability updates based on the selected Assignable setting:

  • Enabled: The job profile is available for selection in job postings, engagements, and related workflows

  • Disabled: The job profile is no longer selectable, but remains:

    • Visible in the job profiles list

    • Assigned to existing job postings and engagements

    • Available in reports
