Testing SSO configuration

After you configure Beeline Professional as your SSO service provider, test the connection to confirm that users can sign in successfully. Testing verifies that SAML settings, including entity ID, SSO URL, and certificate, match between Beeline Professional and your identity provider, and that field mappings are applied correctly.

  1. Test SSO login using one of the following methods:

    • Via Beeline: Click the Login with SSO button on the Professional login page.

    • Via client application: Initiate SSO externally to validate redirection.

      Successful authentication confirms that the IdP configuration, metadata, certificate, and field mappings are correct.

  2. Validate the user in Professional:

    1. Navigate to Settings  User Management.

    2. Search for the user.

    3. Confirm that user attributes match those provided by the IdP.

    4. Ensure the correct user type is assigned.
