Configuring a Pause Job Posting Process
You can pause job postings that are in the In Progress status by changing their status to Paused. This feature lets you temporarily stop candidate activity without closing the job posting or losing associated approvals and budget information.
To use this functionality, you must configure a Pause Job Posting process.
Steps
To create a Pause Job Posting process, complete the following steps:

Sign in to Professional.

From the left navigation pane, go to .

In the upper-right corner, select Add. The Create a Process dialog box appears.

In the Name field, enter a process name. For example:
Pause Job Posting -
From the Type list, select Job Request.

In the Reference ID field, enter the process name using hyphens instead of spaces. For example:
pause-job-posting -
Select Confirm. The Process Editor opens.

Select the Start event.
-
From the Condition Type list, select User Action Manage Job Request.

From the Select Field list, select Status (Job Request).

From the Operator list, select Equal.

Leave the Value selection unchanged.

From the final list, select In Progress.

Select Apply Changes.

Open the Palette pane on the right side of the editor.

Under Business Rule Tasks, drag Business Rule to the editor.

In the Business Rule Task window, from the Output list, select Status (Job Request).

Select Add Row.
-
In the new row, from the Select Value list under Status, select Paused.

Select Apply Changes.

Add the End event and connect all workflow elements.

In the upper-right corner of the editor, select Save and Deploy.

In the Deploy Process Definition window, enter a comment and select Confirm.
Next steps
After you deploy the process, it appears in the Processes list and can be applied to job postings that are currently in the In Progress status.
To pause a job posting:

From the left navigation pane, go to Job Postings.

From the Actions menu next to the selected job posting, select Pause.
The status of the job posting changes to Paused.
While a job posting is paused:

New candidates cannot be added.
-
New job applications cannot be submitted.
-
New suppliers cannot be invited.
-
The job posting is also paused in the Beeline Supplier Network application.
