Creating API keys
API keys enable secure authentication for integrations between Beeline and third-party systems. They identify the calling application and control access to tenant data through configured permissions.
Create separate API keys for each integration endpoint (for example, Workday Reference Data or Oracle Worker Data). This approach ensures that you restrict access appropriately through targeted security and permission settings.
Before you begin
-
You must have administrator or integrations access to the tenant.
-
You must be familiar with REST APIs and XML.
