Candidate duplicate check
Candidate duplicate check helps you identify whether a candidate submitted by a supplier already has a worker record in your organization. You can configure duplicate check to run at any point in the sourcing flow without modifying the smart form or adding another task.
When duplicate check is enabled, the system checks submitted candidates against existing worker records before the configured task can be completed. To identify potential duplicates, the system compares the following fields:
-
First Name
-
Last Name
-
DOB (date of birth)
-
Phone Number
-
Primary Email
-
Personal Email
-
National ID
Based on the degree of similarity across these fields, the system assigns a high, medium, or low confidence level to each potential match and provides the reasoning behind the confidence level.
If the system finds a potential duplicate, you can:
-
Confirm whether the candidate and existing worker are the same person.
-
Merge the candidate and existing worker records into a single record if they are the same person.
-
Confirm that the candidate is a different person and create a new worker record.
-
Check whether the existing worker is eligible for rehire. If a worker is ineligible for rehire, the duplicate check clearly identifies the worker as Do Not Rehire.
After the duplicate check is resolved, the system does not run the check again for that candidate.
